Hi, I’m Sandy Rowe.
I’m a registered osteopath, yoga teacher, rehabilitation and strength coach — and founder of Stryde Osteopathy.
Why Stryde
I believe treatment should go beyond short-term relief — helping you understand your body, rebuild confidence and get back to what matters to you.
Assess → Recover → Rebuild → Perform.
A different route into healthcare
I trained as a computer animator and spent 14 years in IT. The stress meant I wasn’t exercising, slept badly and wasn’t particularly enjoying my life.
So I retrained as a personal trainer — and loved it. That led to sports massage, yoga, rehabilitation and a Master’s degree in Osteopathy with Distinction.
Why movement matters
I love being active — running, strength training, yoga, snowboarding, wakeboarding and being in the mountains.
Having experienced injuries myself, I understand how frustrating it is when you can’t do what you enjoy.
Stryde is about more than reducing pain — it’s about helping you move, get stronger and get back to what you love.
From pain to performance.

Osteopathy isn't appropriate for every problem.
Your initial consultation includes screening for symptoms or findings that may require further investigation.
If I think you would benefit from seeing your GP, another healthcare professional or having further medical assessment, I'll discuss this with you and refer or recommend the appropriate next step.
-
Healthcare and rehabilitation continue to evolve, and so does my practice.
I regularly undertake professional development across osteopathy, pain, rehabilitation, strength, women's health, movement and exercise to keep developing the way I assess and support my patients.
