Move well. Feel stronger. Get back to what you love.
Hi, I'm Sandy. I worked as an IT consultant for 14 years, before retraining. I'm now a registered osteopath with a background in personal training, rehabilitation, yoga and sports massage.
My approach combines hands-on osteopathic care with movement and progressive exercise. Rather than looking only at where something hurts, I want to understand how it affects your life — and what you want to get back to doing.
That could mean walking without pain, getting back to the gym, returning to running, feeling stronger through menopause, recovering after pregnancy or returning safely to activity following an injury or concussion.
I believe treatment should have a direction.
Assess. Recover. Rebuild. Perform.
How I can help
Osteopathy is a whole-person approach to musculoskeletal health. I assess how your body moves, identify the factors contributing to your pain, and combine hands-on treatment with personalised rehabilitation and strength work.
At Stryde, the goal isn’t simply to ease symptoms. I help you move from pain and recovery, through rebuilding strength and confidence, towards better performance—whether that means managing everyday life comfortably or returning to the activities and sports you love.

First, I listen.
We'll talk about what's happening, what affects your symptoms, your health, your activity and — importantly — what you want to be able to do.
I'll then assess your movement, strength and relevant joints, muscles and neurological function to build a clearer picture of what's going on.
-
Your plan is based on you, rather than simply your diagnosis.
Depending on what I find, this might combine osteopathic treatment, rehabilitation, strength work, mobility, education and lifestyle advice.
I'll explain what we're doing, why we're doing it and what you can do between appointments.
-
As you improve, your plan changes with you.
We can progress from treatment and early rehabilitation into strength and a gradual return to the activities that matter to you.
The aim isn't to keep you coming back indefinitely. It's to give you the knowledge, strength and confidence to manage your body and keep progressing.
-
Feeling better doesn't have to be the end goal.
Once you're ready, we can build the strength, mobility, fitness and resilience you need for the things you want to do — whether that's everyday life, the gym, running, skiing, snowboarding or another sport.
The goal is not simply to be pain-free. It's to help you feel strong, capable and confident in your body — and ready to do more.
